Ms. Giovanna Paredes is a foreign physician and Dermatologist who is Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner degree and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
As a hybrid, lived and trained in different countries with her multicultural background approach to Medicine, she has developed a personalized approach to each patient. Sensitive and caring to different communities and diversity.
She has worked along well-known Dermatologist such as: Dr. Guinther Kahn, Dr. Woolery-Lloyd, Dr. Leyda Bowes, and many others. She has over 15 years of experience in Dermatology.
Ms. Gio Paredes obtained her medical degree from UMSA/UNAM and completed her residency program in Dermatology at the Hospital General de Mexico. She also received a competitive scholarship to obtain a master’s degree in Immunology focused on the immunology of psoriasis. After presenting some of her research work at the National Psoriatic Foundation she decided to pursue her passion in USA. She has a Master’s in Advanced Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida International University and serves as a preceptor in the Post Graduate programs of University of Miami and Florida International University.
Ms. Gio Paredes has been a sub-investigator for over 30 clinical trials in Dermatology for FDA approval at Sullivan Dermatology- where she worked more than a decade.
Furthermore, she has extensive Surgical experience and is up to date with Medical Aesthetics and does promote different approaches for Female and Male patients who seeks rejuvenation.
